If our support team is troubleshooting an issue on your office and needs Logs for their investigation. Here's how to export the Logs from the Kasper Config App
Open the Kasper Config App on your server. It may be an icon on your Desktop or you may need to search it via the Windows search tool. If you are not sure if you are on the server, ask your office's I.T. person
If the status in the Kasper Config App is "Running", temporarily stop the Kasper service by clicking "Stop Service." You should see the status changed to "Stopped".
Once thats done, click "Test and Save Database Credentials" to access the Settings button. Ensure your database credentials are entered correctly.
Assuming we were able to access the database, a "Connected to database successfully" message will appear. Just hit "Ok".
Click the gear icon and select "Export Logs."
When prompted to confirm extracting the logs, click "Yes."
Kasper will start collecting logs about itself and your PC. The logs will be zipped and saved to your Desktop. You will get a "Successfully Extracted" message once finished.
Send this zip file to Kasper Support via email.
β Important: Please only perform these steps if the logs are specifically requested by Kasper Support.
Do not share the logs with anyone other than Kasper Support.
