Setting up your hardware phone display is important so that you can forward calls to other phones in the office. You can immediately transfer the call to other agents, place the call on hold on a park line, or forward the call to an external number.
Go to “Settings” -> “Phone & Fax” -> “Hardware Phones”
Here's a list of all the hardware phones and their labels
To edit the phone label
Go to the pencil icon and enter the name. Then press the check mark to save changes.
To configure phone “Directory” (phone extensions)
Click on the gear icon
Here you can add another user's hardware phone extensions, add an external number speed dial, or add a “Park Line” to transfer/forward the calls to.
Park line - you can put a call on hold on this line and another user/hardware phone can pick up the call from this parked line
You can add multiple “Park Lines”
Don't forget to press the “Reboot Phone” to save any changes
