Updated over a week ago

Kasper enables the incorporation of image upload sections within your forms, ensuring the secure collection of vital visuals such as government IDs, insurance cards, patient photos, and more.

These images are not only uploaded to Kasper but are also automatically saved in the Open Dental both as individual images and as integral components of the saved form.

Where will the images be saved in Open Dental?

By default, all Kasper uploaded images will be saved in the "Photos" folder under the Imaging tab in Open Dental.

If you wish to customize where specific photos are stored, you have the flexibility to do so.

How to customize where specific photos are stored in Open Dental?

Navigate to Settings > Paperless Forms > Patient Image Mapping to specify the destination within the Imaging folder in Open Dental. This empowers you to determine precisely where each image should be saved for organized and efficient management.

For those keen on having patient pictures readily available in the patient profile in Open Dental, a simple mapping adjustment is required. Ensure that "Patient Photo" is mapped to the "Patient Pictures" folder in the settings.

How to Integrate an Image Section into Specific Forms?

To include a particular image section in any form, such as for a Government ID, patient picture, insurance card, etc., please send your request to newforms@meetkasper.com. Your form will undergo the necessary updates and be prepared for use within 2-3 business days.
