Hygiene reminders are one of the four Kasper recurring reminders. Those reminders run daily, based on the patient recall dates in the criteria set in Open Dental.
How to set up Hygiene reminder criteria in Open Dental
1. In open Dental go to the Family tab, click on Recall Type. This is going to show when a patient is due for a procedure.
2. To set up those recall types, go to Set up, select Appointments, then select Recall Types and click on Add. Name the procedure and then set the default intervals to trigger recall due dates and confirm selection by clicking on OK.
3. Click on Sync, so those settings sync for all patients in your office.
