If you can't locate Google Chrome in the list of apps under the "Get notifications from these senders" section, it's possible that Chrome notifications haven't been enabled or Chrome hasn't requested notification permissions yet. Here's what you can do:
Ensure Chrome Notifications are Enabled:
Open Google Chrome on your Windows computer.
Navigate to a website that sends notifications (e.g., a news website or social media platform).
When prompted by Chrome, allow notifications for that website.
If you didn't receive a prompt, you can manually enable Chrome notifications by clicking on the lock icon next to the website's URL in the address bar and selecting "Site settings." From there, adjust the permissions for notifications to "Allow."
Restart Google Chrome:
After enabling notifications in Chrome, restart the browser
Check the Windows notification settings again to see if Chrome now appears in the list of apps under "Get notifications from these senders."
Update Google Chrome:
Make sure you're using the latest version of Google Chrome. Outdated versions may not properly interact with Windows notification settings.
To update Chrome, click on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, go to Help, and select "About Google Chrome." Chrome will automatically check for updates and install them if available.
Reinstall Google Chrome (if necessary):
If Chrome still doesn't appear in the list after following the above steps, you may need to reinstall Chrome
Uninstall Chrome from your computer through the Control Panel or Settings app, then download and install the latest version from the official Chrome website.
